The Hopeless and The Ropeless
After sitting in the Tuolumne parking lot all morning we finally motivated to get out and climb. We call it the "lower mundane" start when you get moving around noon. (In contrast to the typical alpine start when you start at the early early hours.) We made fast time free soloing Tenaya peak passing parties left and right. It is crazy how fast and easy climbing is when you don't have to think about anything. 12 or so pitches later we made it to the top in a little under an hour. The hopeless and the ropeless. Welcome to the cool days of fall.
